SunBridge Announces Formation of US Venture Capital Affiliate PALO ALTO, Calif.--January 18, 2005--SunBridge Corporation announces the formation of SunBridge Partners, Inc. Based in Palo Alto, SunBridge Partners (http://www.sunbridgepartners.com/) will focus on investing in private US technology companies. Ken Ehrhart, Paul Grim and John Gannon, all Directors of Equitek Capital, will be joining Allen Miner, CEO of SunBridge Corporation, as the four investment principals of SunBridge Corporation's new US venture capital affiliate. SunBridge Partners will build upon the experience and investment success of SunBridge Corporation, which launched its first fund in 2000 and its second in 2002. To date, SunBridge has completed investments in 33 companies. Four portfolio companies have completed successful IPOs, including salesforce.com, G-Mode, Macromill and Shicoh Engineering. SunBridge Partners will also benefit from the experience of its new principals from Equitek Capital, who manage a venture capital fund that includes investments in Flarion Technologies, Alien Technology and Eclipse Aviation. The SunBridge Partners investment principals will continue to pursue a proactive, targeted research-based approach to deal sourcing and evaluation as in prior funds.
