8/15/2007 — TOKYO, Japan: SunBridge Partners, a U.S.-based venture capital firm, Globis Capital, Japan`s most innovative venture investment fund, and Shaf Broadcasting, one of India`s largest broadcast systems integrators, have concluded a landmark investment round in Tokyo-based The New Media Group (TNMG), a leading community media platform operator in the emerging internet TV space. Also participating in the investment round was existing TNMG shareholder Oak Lawn Marketing, K.K., Japan`s largest TV infomercial and shopping company.

The investment marks a rare tri-continental collaboration between Japanese and U.S-based VCs and an Indian media technology company, and comes at a time when internet TV is beginning to emerge on a global scale.
